Spent the better part of this Sunday adding elements to the site and making everything feel a bit more cohesive. Most of the main pages are laid out now and templates have been made for various article types. I've started filling in the science bits, which was much more difficult than I initially imagined.
The main issue I'm having with the Science section right now is how to phrase the scientific articles in a way that's fast to read while also easily digestible. Being in the neural engineering field for so long has made it hard to express certain concepts on a higher level. There's a certain expectation of what one should know when I usually present these findings, but I didn't want that to be a limiting factor on my site. I want this site's content to be accessible by all who are interested in its topics, with very little background required. With that being said, the articles are all works in progress. They contain the main ideas, but I'm not yet happy with how things are phrased. Check back occasionally to see if things become clearer. If not, feel free to drop a comment here or send me an email and I can try my best to improve things. Aside from that, I still am not completely satisfied with how the home page is laid out. It feels clunky and disorganized. I need to sleep on it though before I get too wrapped up in certain ideas. As the lowest priority right now, I also need to add in more photos in my gallery. Those are more or less placeholders until I have more time to curate the selection. But all in all, I'm quite proud of myself for putting this together, and I'm excited to start my new brand as myself.

Excited to finally have my professional site up and running! I've had multiple sites in the past for various hobbies, but each of them felt like a more filtered version of myself. This site is intended to showcase who I am and what I enjoy in a less-filtered way.
